The University of Michigan Ancient Philosophy Working Group (APWG) is dedicated to gathering scholars and graduate students from various departments from the University of Michigan (including the Departments of Classical Studies, Philosophy, and Political Science) in order to promote interdisciplinary research on ancient philosophy. In line with the aims and structure of U-M’s Program in Ancient Philosophy, the APWG seeks to ‘bring together the special expertises in each discipline, whether they be logical and analytical techniques, ancient literary theory, the knowledge of political institutions and religious traditions, or papyrology (all strengths at Michigan)’. The APWG is sponsored by Rackham Interdisciplinary Workshop. Contact Justin Barney, or Matteo Milesi, or Adam Waggoner to join the APWG.
